I'm going to miss teaching Band!

Kokoleoko is a Liberian folk song that the 5th graders have learned.  They've also learned a clapping game that goes with it.  They spent a few minutes creating partner clapping patterns of their own.

I love teaching band students!  I get to know them as people because we work together in small groups.  It's so much fun watching them learn and grow as musicians.  Following are some photos of students in rehearsal for District Band Festivals.
